The School of Communication and Promotion of Contemporary Artistic Heritage aims to train professionals who will work in the museum and cultural heritage sectors. With a solid theoretical background complemented by repeated work experience opportunities in the field of exhibition design and cultural projects.
Various areas of expertise involving curatorship, communication, teaching and skills in the management of cultural heritage are part of the CVPAC school’s training programme.
Over the course of five years, students will be trained in the most up-to-date international standards relating to museums, cultural heritage and, more generally, the appreciation of works of art in architectural spaces. An integral part of the study programme are the practical exercises that are carried out regularly in museums, where case studies are put into practice. The two-year course focuses on the practical application of what has been learned in the three-year course. Students are involved in the design and implementation of cultural projects, overseeing all aspects from theory to the practical administration. Developing an exhibition project, devising an educational and communication project. Preparing critical texts, understanding administrative aspects, insurance, condition reports, transport and installation.
