The three-year course in Multimedia and Technology Arts seeks to provide students with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to develop their own conscious and creative language in the specific field of digital arts, multimedia and interactive installations, and new media art in general, using the latest technologies. Alongside technical training, lecturers consistently focus on the exchange of ideas and critical thinking, addressing the impact, influence and transformations that new media have on individuals, their relationships with others and the ecosystem in general.
The study plan is structured in workshops, theoretical courses, seminars and collaborative, multidisciplinary projects. Students are encouraged to broaden their education by participating in exchanges with other European universities and academies and to engage with the outside world through work placements in various fields of artistic production.
The School provides students with professional and semi-professional equipment for shooting and projecting video, recording and manipulating sound, and designing multimedia and interactive systems. The classrooms are equipped with PCs and Macs, including laboratories for editing, digital printing and 3D printing.
