Learning Objectives

The objective of the second-level course in Painting is to provide specific training in the specific codes of the language of painting, together with multidisciplinary preparation in the field of art, with particular reference to the theory, knowledge, practice and languages of contemporary art. The central theme around which the entire training activity revolves, is the development of the creative process, understood both in its methodological and design dimensions and in its more strictly operational aspects.
Following an educational path designed to provide in-depth knowledge of the theories, materials and technological aspects of art, with their related influences, the course also aims to develop interpretative skills in relation to complex phenomena linked to the world of art, its contexts, its dissemination, and the interpretation of reality and contemporary imagery. To this end, the workshops are structured as a place of experience in a specific but integrated training process that will touch on the most relevant themes from time to time

Final assessment

The final assessment consists of an oral exam, which involves the presentation of a project in the form of a thesis, carried out under the supervision of one or more lecturers. The production of an original piece of art is also required.
